Sheet 03 · Where to start
Two ways to begin. The same coach, all the way through.
Two different needs, and they are easy to tell apart. If the writing is what your student is stuck on, the workshop is a room to write in with someone reading it back. If the whole year needs holding — the school list, the essays, the testing, the deadlines — the comprehensive month gives your student a strategist who sees how each of those moves the others.
Neither ties you down. Nothing renews on its own, and there is no multi-year contract anywhere.

- One-to-one on the list, the essays, the supplements, and the final read
- SAT, ACT and AP prep included — not a second package, and no hourly bill on top
- A full-length diagnostic first, so the work goes where the points are actually being lost rather than into retaking the whole test and hoping
- Proctored practice tests, and a pacing plan for the real day
- Weekly office hours, for the questions that come up midweek
- June to November, two scheduled hours a week with Dr. J
- December to May, one hour a week once the submissions are in
Not sure yet? Most families aren’t.
That is what the free call is for. Thirty minutes with Dr. J about your student in particular — where they are now, what the year ahead really asks of them, and what would make the most difference to it. You leave with a dated timeline whether or not you enroll, and it is yours to keep. If you don’t need us, she will tell you so on the call.
